I am currently typing from Ogdensburg, New York.
During our trip there, my older sister Meg told me there were two R160 cars traveling along the highway. I believe those are the Alstom-Built ones. Anyways, the cars were traveling from Plattsburgh New York.
Here are the R160A's
8313-8652 run on the J L M and Z lines.
8653-8712 run on the N Q and W lines.
9233-9592 run on the E anf F lines (delivery still ongoing)
R160B's
8713-9102 run on the N Q and W lines
9103-9232 run on the E and F lines (delivery still ongoing)
My sister Meg said the cars on the highway were labeled in 9600's.
The Following orders go as follows
Base order R160A
8313-8652 in four car sets
8653-8712 in five car sets.
Base order R160B
8713-8972 in five car sets
Option order 1 R160A
9233-9592 in five car sets
Option order 1 R160B
8973-9232 in five car sets
Option order 2 R160A
9593-9802 in five car sets
9943-9974 in four car sets
Option order 2 R160B
9803-9942 in five car sets
R160A's are manufactured by Alstom Transportation.
R160B's are manufactured by Kawasaki Rail Car
Again, R160s can be found on using two five car sets and using two four car sets due to platform lengths not being 600 feet long.
